Road Safety Awareness Programme (13 January, 2026)

With the objective of promoting responsible behavior on roads and reducing accidents through awareness and education, the Trust Foundation organized a Road Safety Awareness Programme at Udayanath Autonomous College of Science and Technology Adaspur campus. The programme aimed to sensitize young students about traffic rules, safe driving practices, and the importance of road discipline.

The event involved interactive session, awareness lectures, and discussions with the dignitaries Smt Amiyabala Parida, Lecturer (Education Dept.) and Social Worker & Sri Sujit Senapati, Chairman, Common Action for Road Safety (CARS), focusing on the increasing need for road safety consciousness among youth, who are among the most active road users.  Speakers highlighted the consequences of negligence, rash driving, and violation of traffic rules.

The interactive nature of the session helped in creating a strong impact and encouraged participants to adopt safer practices in their daily lives. The programme successfully conveyed the message that road safety is not only a legal responsibility but also a social and moral duty towards oneself and others.
